the somatic nervous system is responsible for taking in sensory information and relaying it to the brain and body.

by using tools like mindfulness, breath work, and movement, we can engage our somatic nervous systems and actually change the way our brain and body respond to sensations.

my unique style of coaching does just that through a tangible, five-step approach:

LISTEN

/ 01 SOMATIC LISTENING

through a blend of guided exercises, including meditation, breath work and movement, we’ll gauge your current capacity for intimacy, notice your ability to articulate feelings and acknowledge any underlying shame that might be stuck in your system from past experiences. as we’re listening to your body through these exercises, the goal is not to change anything but to simply listen and appreciate what your body and nervous system is capable of.

REPAIR

/ 02 SOMATIC REPAIR

with an in-depth understanding of your current capacity for intimacy, we’ll work with tools to repair your somatic nervous system by diving deeper into the “why” behind hesitations, fears or blocks that stand in the way of authentic intimacy. the goal of nervous system reparation involves finding safety in your body, practicing setting personal boundaries and letting go of old habits that no longer serve you. this brings your system back to a neutral state.

REWIRE

/ 03 SOMATIC REWIRING

once your nervous system is back to neutral, we’ll shift our focus to the building blocks of intimacy, re-learning the seemingly simple yet profound intricacies of human connection. this involves practicing leading & following, giving & receiving, and building your tolerance for engagement in intimate settings. during this stage of the work, you might notice old habits coming up but instead of falling back, you’ll feel equipped with tools to confidently move forward, creating new neural pathways and truly letting go of old habits for good.

EXPLORE

/ 04 SOMATIC EXPLORATION

at this point in your coaching journey, you will have let go of old habits and practiced the basics of intimate engagement, setting the foundation for us to start exploring new forms of connection that you may not have thought to try. we’ll also practice communicating your desires and boundaries with others without feeling fear or judgement. the goal of this step in the process is to empower you to explore what turns you on, why it does and how to use that information in real-life scenarios safely and responsibly.

EMBODY

/ 05 SOMATIC EMBODIMENT

in the final stage of this work, you’ll be fully equipped to embody and implement skills needed for intimacy in your daily life. we’ll take time to revisit your goals from session one, talk about any residual questions you have and celebrate how your capacity for intimacy has changed since we started sessions together. in our last session, we’ll explore the original somatic listening tests once more to showcase how far you’ve come!
